Meet New York Times bestselling author Christina Baker Kline, as she discusses her new novel, The Foursome, a sweeping work of historical fiction inspired by the true story of Chang and Eng Bunker, the world-famous conjoined twins who settled in North Carolina and married sisters Adelaide and Sarah Yates. Set in the Blue Ridge foothills during the turbulent years surrounding the Civil War, the novel explores love, identity, family, and the complicated bonds that tie people together in extraordinary circumstances.
